This month we have been talking a lot about butterflies. Monarch butterflies to be precise. Katie the caterpillar is now cozy in her chrysalis and we are patiently waiting for her to change into a beautiful Monarch butterfly. So it comes as no surprise that we have butterflies on the brain. Today we did some sequencing work with the book The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. Tomorrow, after another read, our kindergartners will draw their favorite part of the story and label their picture.
