St. Patrick's Day Math Stations

We had a busy day on St. Patrick's day. We had a leprechaun visit and make us mini hats and we had measurement and addition Math stations with a leprechaun theme. Take a look below!

At this station students were given 8 leprechaun cut outs that they had to measure using a non-standard unit (cubes, paperclips, Popsicle sticks).

At this station students were given leprechaun hat cut outs. They had to use these hats to measure their books bags, pencils, crayons etc. Luke had a book bag that was 13 hats long!

At this station we did lucky number roll. Students used dice, rolled them, added the two numbers up and filled in a graph to see how many times they rolled that number.

This last station was the class favourite. The kids were given a picture of a leprechaun. They had to use paperclips, dice, cubes, tiles, fingers, and Popsicle sticks to measure the leprechaun.
