Ice Cream Art Project

The kids have just completed a fun art activity that has to do with ice cream! We read ice cream poems, discussed our favourite flavours and got right to work! Check them out below. They turned out pretty cute!

Animal Report

Our grade 2's have been working on reports. Each student was given an animal to research. We are now working on an animal report poster to present to the class. Students not only write about their animal but they use interesting text features like labelled diagrams and lists. I can't wait for you all to see them!

Summer decided to ham it up once she realised I was taking pictures of them working!

This is the poster the kids are working on. There is a place for writing and we have given them an opportunity to create their own text features.
